But the truth is
That I hurt myself more
By keeping it in
Than you could ever hurt me
If I told you the true feelings
In my heart.

Yes, one needs to let out that which bothers them so that they can be free of pain.

Wonderful expression of what lonesome means and the pain it sometimes brings.
