I would have thought a squeal would have escaped you by now
When I left you with a deaf ear aching
I didn't figure the noise was just the end of insecurities

When I see my love's face my vision goes blank
And ripples in the nightmare echo in the stance she portrays
The ethereal touch, the whisper of a night
It's as if a soul sulks in the arms of its abandonment

Maybe there was a reason
The unity was broken
The shards still point the path along
Never did sanity matter
Reality was shattered
The passing proves this will go on

When I scream loud enough, nothingness stirs
Before the loss, ash and dreams never merged within
Just a bit of loathing will do me fine
The idea of a joke has now crossed the line

Whenever my mind bends I want to let it break
The illusion and guilt of the mirage is escape for me
The absent hurt, the only countenance
(I ever want to see)
All so possessed, distorted by surreal-ity

Maybe there was a reason
The unity was broken
The shards still point the path along
Never did sanity matter
Reality was shattered
The passing proves this will go on

And she still won't answer me...
(answer me)

Open your ******* mouth
Open your ******* tomb
Swing the lid ajar
Brush the decay away
Speak while your jaw's attached
Speak atonement riddled fast
The flies pick in haste
Your flesh as turned grey

My eyes perceive a better failure than what is me
(you say)
You still believe the hand offers all that you need

Maybe there was a reason
The unity was broken
The shards still point the path along
Never did sanity matter
Reality was shattered
The passing proves this will go on

In your hopes to be saved
You dug a shallow grave
Buried alive
You unconsciously rot
My screams go un-adhered
In earth you'll disappear
Has it all played out
In the way that you sought?

an amazing write. when i read your poetry i
become so immersed in your words, that
that is all i see for that one moment. i aspire
to write like this, to immerse my reader to the
exclusion of all else.

where to begin on this write. Immaculately composed, beautifully described. the beginning line is gripping and has me passing over into this adventure, this torrid and heart-breaking truth and revelation. People f***ing suck! this piece resembled some of the greatest lyrics i have ever read by the best f***ing musicians on the planet (slipknot) you forced your opinions on the reader in an uncompromised manner that just devoured me. when an artist can consume another being with a line it shows the depth of the talent. you are powerful behind these words, they are slaves to you.
