Array ( [sid] => 10374 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Death of A family [time] => 2003-01-14 12:20:00 [hometext] => I finally felt as though my marriage was over today...thanks to my soon to be exwifes anger at me. I FINALLY feel as though I can move on. Heres to poetry and it's healing power [bodytext] => The end of a marriage,
Is such a tragic tale.
It is a black dark,
Twisting winding trail.

We both said so many things,
We cut each other to the bone.
We’ve destroyed our vows,
So much we cannot atone.

We’ve each told our lies,
And deceived one another.
Only think of ourselves,
And never the other.

We’ve hurt each other,
In countless ways.
If we stay together,
Hurt will grow each day.

The loser from our failure,
Are our poor lonely children.
Who sit there at night,
And wonder what did happen

How do we ever explain,
To our child of five.
That mommy and daddy,
Couldn’t keep love alive.

The fighting we did,
With such evil faces.
Made our love fall,
Out of God’s good graces.

Although our life together is done,
You’ll always have a piece of my heart.
I wish we could have done it different,
So our love did not depart.

I wish you good luck,
In this life that you chose.
I’ll pick my heart up,
It’s time to heal I suppose.

Now our lives go on separately,
As two lives not as one.
Our failed marriage is over,
It is finally finished and done.

Pete this is so sad...i really don't wish this upon any marriage....i know the pain this has caused you..and my heart is right there with you....i've never had to deal with this type of thing....and i mean it does go both ways...a man could leave a woman for another man.....so i cannot say i know how you feel....but i am willing to listen to you when you need someone to listen....as you well know...thank you for sharing such a deep part of your life Pete....that must have taken alot of strength to do so...
