Array ( [sid] => 10371 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Me [time] => 2003-01-14 11:20:00 [hometext] => [bodytext] => I have dry hands
I keep my legs smooth
I have my grandmothers eyes
And something from my grandfather
But I'm not sure what
I have rigid teeth
And no one knows where those come from
I play the piano
But only hot cross buns
I like the jewelry
And the color of gray pearls
I flirt too much
And everyone knows it
But my hands are still dry
And my teeth are still rigid
And tomorrow I know that
I won't like gray pearls anymore
I have long nails
And Jewish hair so big
That even though it's not curly
I still straighten it
I have calloused hands
And blistered heels
I tap my nails against the table
Whenever I'm nervous
And I usually laugh the hardest
When it's not really that funny
I cry at just about every movie
Because I pretend it's me feeling that pain
I like striking matches
And I've been as stubborn as a mule
Since the day I was born
I live minutes away from the nation's capital
But I feel like it's the middle of nowhere
I can't stay on diets
And I go days without exercise
But I still have calloused hands
And I still laugh hard
At the things that aren't all that funny
And by next week I know that
My nails could break
I have feet that feel no pain
Even when they step on rocks without shoes
I have skin that doesn't tan
And freckles that don't disappear
I have a heart shaped face
Thanks to a prominent widow's peak
I have ugly toe nails
Which I hide with nail polish
I have webbed toes on my left foot
And people think it's cool
But I secretly hate it
I paint pictures even without artistic ability
Or at least I used to
When I didn't care what the outcome would be
I brush my teeth with an electric toothbrush
I've copied answers
And I've lied about my age
But I still have pale skin with lots of freckles
And I still paint my toe nails
And by next year I know that
My feet will start to hurt when I step on rocks
Without shoes on
But maybe by today I'll start
Painting pictures again
