[title] => The merciful lady
[time] => 2005-08-16 00:17:33
[hometext] => This poem is of a ballad form, a tribute to my lady`s love
[bodytext] => What shall ail thee knight-at-arms? Has company and joyfully loitering The clouds have gathered on the skies And all birds sing I see a rose on thy brow With no anguish moist and fever gone And on the cheeks another blossoming rose Fast growing too I met a lady at bridal match Full beautiful – a faery`s child With long hairs and the foot so light And her eyes were very mild Wish to make a garland for her head Bracelets for hands too, in fragrant zone She looked at me as she did love And there came a sweet moan She found me roots of relish sweet, Sweet honey and cream with dew Her lips pondering came the reply “I love thee true.” She took me to her elfin grot With gentle smile sighed with no sore I shut her mild mild eyes With kisses four There she lulled me asleep On her laps and to my pride When I awoke I found me here On the cool hills side And this is why I sojourn here With company and joyfully loitering The clouds gathered on the skies And all birds sing.
