[hometext] => Do you really want to know?
[bodytext] => How agreeable it would be if my alarm clock sounded like a rooster instead of a screaming siren in my ear. I’d be awakened by the rousing call of a farm animal, in the city. Of course, now you have your choice of sounds to sleep and awake to: mountain stream, spring rain, a heartbeat. This one, I’ve never understood. Who would want to wake up to the sound of a pounding heart that’s not his own? Wake up in the middle of the night and hear the reminder of man’s mortality? No. I prefer the rooster call, the coffee percolator, my dog’s annoying bark at daybreak, the silent swish of my his feet on Burberry carpet as he dresses in the dark of the room.
