Gently brushing the hair from my tear filled eyes
It caresses my soul
When I start to realize
The wind is your spirit flowing over me
Showing me wondrous places of beauty
Healing the pain that has buried itself deep within my heart
It is infused with loving memories of all the times we have shared
It is understanding
It is Kindness
It is Love
It lifts me to a place where the only things that exist
Are the Love that we’ve shared
And the times we have had together
Little by little it blows away the feelings of regret
Heals the scars left from when you passed
It dries my eyes and finally makes me see clearly
It makes me smile
As the wind dies down
It calms me
I know you are here
I know you are happy
I know I am Loved [comments] => 1 [counter] => 162 [topic] => 48 [informant] => kappymike [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Beautiful write. I lost my beautiful Mother to cancer when I was 18 years young. I'm almost 41, not a day goes by that I don't think of her. Peace to you. Laura
