I feel so alone yet your presence surrounds me
We belong together I know that you agree

Because it’s you, whom I so much adore

I can’t wait to be held tight in your embrace
Holding on to each other staring at one another’s face
I can’t wait to see you, that is pretty much evident
Because you were the one, who must’ve been heaven sent

But in the meantime I’ll see you in my dreams
You know 8 months really isn’t as long as it seems
Wait, that’s like 240 give or take a day
Oh man, that’s about one month less than May

As the days go by I love you more and more
I really wish this wasn’t your third tour
I stare at your pictures, oh how much you are missed
Come home soon so my heart you can fix

I feel so alone yet your presence surrounds me

It's too bad he has to go over there for that long but he's doing what he obviously wants to do...After a little while you'll get used to it and the time will go by like nothin and soon enough he'll be back in your arms again...it's ok to miss him. the happier you'll be the day he comes back :) great job with the poem, it was great....

Hey baby........Thanks for the compliment, but you know I'm a little devilish, lol. Great poem babe, I love the way your style has developed. You've gotten so much better since we've known each other..... so smooth. As for the 8 months, well it might only be 6 now so cross your fingers. Ok baby, here's hoping! Love you, bye.
