We were all a part of his love until the end of his time.
Now he's passed away, ashes to ashes dust to dust.
It's hard to let go but sadly I'm afraid we must.

I felt so much sorrow as we lowered him in the ground.
It's so sad to know that he'll no longer be around.
While on this Earth, he left us a special gift
and when we're deeply troubled, his memory is sure to give us a lift.

I wish he was still around but I'll never get my wish.
He was my Grandpa and sadly he'll be missed.
With a voice as soft as a grain of sand,
he was a good christian and a very special man. just look at it this way, at least you had him around long enough to really know him. One of my grandpas died before I was born and the other died when I was only five. I never really understood how much I missed out on with not having grandpas... I don't know what I'm missing. So just be glad you have to something to miss.

Randy this was a beautiful tribute to your grandfather, I'm sure he's be very proud of you. I lost my paternal grandfather before I learrned to walk so I have no memories of him. My maternal grandfather passed when I was 19. As a nurse I "adopted" many grandparents. I love their stories. Peace to you. Laura

Randy, I am so sorry for the loss. It has been years but I still miss both my Grandfathers. I was very close to both of them. There is such a special bond between Grandparents and Grandchildren. Mine taught me how to be a Grandparent years later. This is a lovely tribute to him. Bless you.

Rita
