There she sat in the dark
no stars, no moon, in the sky
The sounds of a train, in her mind
silently passed her by

The shadows of the trees
were in her mind as well
All these things of darkness
have cast an evil spell

It is time for her to awaken
and see the light of day
Move on to the brighter side
for this she must find her way

Life will be rewarding
and enjoyment she will find
Time to move out of the darkness
and totally unwind

The Lady In the Dark
will become the lady in the light
The moon and stars, will be there
as she enjoys each night [comments] => 8 [counter] => 189 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Bruce [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 19 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Smiling. And tonight, RD goes back out into those dark skies to sit, to unwind over and over again.

Tonight, RD will watch the light show in the sky. The show you have created for her.

Bruce, you are amazing. You make the night so light.

RD must sit and dissolve the days happenings and yes the spent time in the dark to move on.

And when she wakes up all refreshed she goes about her business, until the darkness comes to bring on another new day.

I love it, story of all her nights.

What does RD do when it rains outside?

She gets wet.

A lovely poem for a lovely lady. Yes, she needs much light in her life. God is working and all will be well.

it seems the lady found the light to her darkness. perhaps this is a sign of hope. perhaps the light truly does exist.
wonderful poem, hope to see more.
