Am I the way I need to be
….I don’t really know…

What if I’m not meant to be like this
Who am I meant be?
Should I change
If so how do I?

Would people like me better?

…Could I lie to them…
If I could lie to them
….Could I lie to myself….

After lying for so long,
Would I remember who I was

Pretty good for first time free verse there. I think the first lesson we should be taught in life is to be ourselves. And be the best of ourselves. It takes work growing and we learn from mistakes. The operative word there is LEARN and not keep repeating the same ones over and over. To me it is just too hard to keep up with lies so it is better to tell the truth even if a lie might be simplier to live with. JMO Rita
