Secretly they aspire to be like him, they immitate his style to draw attention to themselves.
They scorn his opulance and fame, but at night they pray for his courage.
He says what they want to say before they think it.
He tries and fails with out being shaken.
It is a love hate relationship because of our jealousy.

Some hate the dreamer because he never falls in line.
He is always marching to a different beat
He is always stealing their fame
The dreamer is always one step ahead in his ideas
He is always one step ahead in his resolution
His pursuers try with all their might to do what he does effortlessly

Some Aspire to dream
They know they are not the dreamer
At every opportunity they help the dreamer
Their hearts are filled with admiration and friendship
They do not mind being second
They do not mind being scorned
They want to dream and they can learn it from the dreamer

I have not said what I have intended
I have only shown three sides of a triangle

Are you a dreamer?
Do you hold on to what you knew at youth
Do you soar like the eagle and ride on the tempest of the sea
Do your rivals still call you a rebel
and do you still scale the mountain of challenge and test your will against the fates
Do you still scoff at the world and try to change it
and laugh when people tell you that it is impossible
Do you still wrestle with your inner person and bend him to your will or have you become the cynic
I say to the dreamer, dream. I had rather die dreaming than die an old age with nothing to show for it but empty stories of what i could not do.
Dream, stride like the tiger against the world. Pick your target and go after it and when you have failed try again.
Take the bull by the horns but not hastily for the bull is strong
Dream, overcome the habits of your youth and face life with a brighter future.
There is no excuse to not follow your dream
There is nothing you can tell me that will make falling in line worth while
There is nothing glamerous about the person who gives up his dream except to accomplish a bigger one.

Some one once said "Some people look at a problem and they ask why and others look at the same problem and ask why not." I am not the dreamer but I will follow my dream.

neat Archie .. I had a friend .. sadly he died.. but he said..
dreams are as the rose petals in the wind .. if you hold out your hand maybe .. with your fingers spread you may by chance just catch ONE .. (that's copy righted by the way..lol)
he was such a beautiful person .. and believed so strongly in smiling and in having dreams .. and reaching for them ..

A wonderful work. May it inspire many to dream, and follow their dreams. Well done.
Take care.

I had dreams, some became real. I had dreams and some failed. I am still a dreamer and always will be. But I did learn in life to be the herder not the sheep. Very inspiration write there, Archie.

Reality is for people who lack imagination. I may not be a dreamer.. but I have my dreams, born of my imagination. Once again a good write.
