i dont understand what is goin on,
am i still in love after this long?
what girl wanted to just have "fun",
i thought i did to, but when it came down to it all i could do was run!
this was a girl that i liked long ago,
i guess i just need to take things slow.
how do i feel this way after all that has gone down,
you even called the cops into town.
i want to move on, i really do,
yet when its time to go i feel as if i cant find my shoes.
meaning that i always find something wrong,
i used to think that i was ever so strong.
but how could it be true,
if i am being so hurt by you?!?
what really gets me is i know you still care,
but talkin to me about it is something you wont bare.
or talk to me at all as a matter of fact,
i wish you would drop this big *** act!

Letting go is always hard (maybe she needs space for awhile) The heart is always affected easily but sometimes we must teach our hearts to wait. I think your poem is great.

thank you very much! the reason its so hard is because we were together for about 5 years! and i'm hoping that she just needs space, but i dont know if i could take her back or trust her after what she did to me...
