A last suffocation, a final breath
Strength it does take to plunge the knife
Ending all pain and ending my life
They say it gets better but it’s just getting worse
My life, to me, is an unlivable curse
My palm becomes sweaty and I close my eyes
I am but worthless I come to realize
Tears drip onto the paper I feed
A suicide note to whomever may read
In my resent I hate but myself
So damn my soul send me straight to hell
Crying myself to sleep every night
Isn’t the way I want to live my life
So cut my wrists and slit my throat
Remember me only in my suicide note

Jesus!

Unfortunately, I've read many
of these kinds of writes here..
but this has to be one of the
most hopeless things Ive ever read-

no metaphors..
no analogies..
not even a sweet
whisper of hope..
jus' take ya life
and it's done!

what can I say but,
"please don't do it-"

No offense to the work,
but I'm not sure this would
even qualify as poetry..
as much as it would
a simple "suicide note"
.. a cry for help

very sad indeed..

Thoughts and Prayers to You..

B

despite that i dont agree with the subject and it saddens me becuase i've been there...you wrote this REALLY well. it flowed nicely from beggining to end..great writing job. and they say it gets better...yes they do and it does but only if you allow it to. try to block out the negativity..try to laugh more..heal slowly and maybe you'll see that "it gets better". great write!
