They say time is the best teacher of all,
but all its students are doomed to fall.
They say there's a time for everything,
a time to love, a time to live,
a time to forget, a time to stay,
but there's also a time to cry,
a time to hate, a time to regret,
a time for everything even a time for death.
Time twists into memories you can't forget,
relive those happy ones and others you regret.
Time is a void that sucks itself dry,
time has no end, except the end of time.
You can rant and scream all you want,
some of your past will still haunt,
the present you can not keep,
and tomorrow you might be six feet deep.
Time is gruesome - time is time -
it hasn't gone till it past,
it hasn't left until you grasp,
that time is what you have left,
in this world of theft.
Time heals all wounds, time writes all wrongs,
time makes you forget everything you have left.
