Fairy Colours.

Contributed by bernard2 on Thursday, 11th August 2005 @ 05:20:40 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Colours in thousands of different hues,
Reds, yellows, orange, greens, indigo, violet and blues
Fairies turning out colours by the hours,
Delicately painting grass, trees and millions of flowers.
Everywhere I go I see with wondering delight,
That the fairies work overtime to make the world bright.
When I look at the birds of the air,
I see too they have their share
Even the fish in the deepest of seas,
Have wonderful colours for me to please.
The clouds so high up in the skies,
Are also good for a lovely surprise.
Colours nothing but colours everywhere abound,
high in the sky and below on the ground.
I once saw some fairies painting the flowers,
This they did with their magical powers.
A touch with the wand and all was changed,
Colours so marvellous all freshly arranged.
The fairies then turned to the animal world,
Thousands more colours magically unfurled.
Fairies work in shift I’ll have you know,
They work so fast to put on a good show.
The next time you see colours with thousands of hues.
There is no need to wonder I have given you the clues.
The hard working fairies have given their best,
And our beautiful world is with colours blest.

This is a great Poem. (How come you have not published a book of poems?) I know people would enjoy reading about the fairies and all they do.

Well, this is exceptionally beautiful. Have you been sending them to my house this year? My plants are perfect this year. I know it isn't my black thumb, lol. My husband kept a beautiful yard. I have a man come in twice a week to mow and take care of the flower beds but this season the yard is just radiant. If so, thank the fairies for me.

Love to you both,
Rita

Bernard, these are the first tales of fairies I have taken the time to read in oh, so many years. I have enjoyed the experience immensely. I read several more on your home page, AND guess what? I saw a white butterfly a few moments later. Keep up the good writes. I know where to go when I need to read for pure relaxation. Cheers.
John
