The snake skulked and glided across the grass. Emerald with jet I just sit back, Watching it smile in its pass. I was curious…ah at last, A serpent of a noble class. “What type of snake are you my friend? Slinking across the grass.” “This is no place for little boys to spend, I might bite you’re ar**.” “But why I am fascinated by beauty.” “Don’t get fresh with me now cutie, For I am male of upper class, Last of my kind to slither past.” “Can I touch that glistens and trembles?” “You may if you’re not in fright.” “So smooth you are such a delight, Would you be my one true friend? I could feed you and bathe you, Many hours we would spend.” “Alas you forget I am free so wild, How about I eat you for breakfast, Then sleep for awhile.” “I am too big for even you to eat, How about my last sticky toffee sweet.” “Ok just one then I’ll have my bite, Slip of the wrapper pop it in real tight.” Well the sweet was sticky long past its best, “I hope you enjoy” I lied in jest. Being a snake its fangs closed with might, I starred at in wonder as his jaws stuck tight. “You can’t eat me now reptile, Slither away” I said with a brazen smile. Lots of hissing and shaking the snake moved away, My boiled sweets had saved the day. The morale of this poem is always, Be aware when sat on the grass. For all that is beautiful might bite your ar**.
