Array ( [sid] => 103158 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Violent Heaven [time] => 2005-08-10 12:40:18 [hometext] => I wrote this with the maniacal bombings in London in mind, its bout the agony of a guy trapped in the debris.Man i hope those bombers pay for this! [bodytext] => Silent stars set upon the endless clouds that gaze upon the world tonight
"O" violent heaven resting on the silver rays of the moon so bright

Bleed for me "O" heaven bleed for me tonight

Because I cant feel life anymore
In my broken shattered soul
there is no light of hope within
I wonder why did my life begin

So "O Violent Heaven" bleed for me tonight,

O heaven bleed your heart dry
My eyes still searching through the sky
staring, not knowing what i hope to see
yet pitiless the violent heaven still stares down on me

But "O" Violent Heaven won't you bleed for me........Won't you bleed for me tonight????

The repetition may have gone one phrase too much, but the body of this piece is excellent.
The word 'Fluid' comes to mind! (with that one exception)
Great work!

A painfull subject to this poem but that's what makes it so beautifull.Suffering was and will remain the best source of inspiration for poems and with this one it's more than just pain of one man ... i think it represents the pain of all the victims of that bombing and the suffering of their loved ones.Nicely done
