Surrounded by many trees of red delight
Beneath this wonderful bridge of beauty
Is a beautiful creek called Natures Duty

Once I cross and walk beyond
I come across a beautiful pond
Where you can sit to relax your soul
They call this pond Serenity Goal

If you keep on going you will find
A beautiful cottage like no other kind
Surrounded by magic, animals, nature so fine
Beauty overwhelming, they call this cottage Natures Devine

If you look beyond the cottage you will see
Numerous different kind of natures trees
Tall, short, bushy ones , and pine
They call this place Natures Tree Refine

As you continue your walk you will feel
Serenity, Tranquility with in your soul so real
You body relaxes, tension is gone, no more fear
You look around your surrounded by deer

Time has past must start back home
As you look around at the animals roam
You head on back through all the wonderful sites
Darkness comes, have to use your flashlight

You now see the bridge, overwhelmed with fire flies
Such a beautiful sight, you take deep sighs
Knowing tomorrow you’ll return to pass the ridge
As you’re walking across the little white bridge

Imaginary writing, well done!.....

A bit old English cottage style, really felt like a Laura Ashley picture setting there.

Huggssss,

Nats.

Mom you have painted in words that which most impressed me in my long life. Each one of us has a need for such a bridge I have crossed mine many times mostly hand in hand with my lovely wife. Than you for this delightful poem bernard2

I see you are knew here so, welcome. I went to your page after I read your other nature poem about the cabin in the woods. Saw you have just these two writes so far. I am a tree hugging, nature loving, hippie so I look forward to more of your writes. I like to read a nature piece that takes me somewhere, your poem did that for me. So glad your posting your work here. Peace to you. Laura
