Blind only to that which is ahead
A shadowy consciousness meanders
Through fields of unceremonious untruths
But not lies

This cart-wheeling stone, teetering
On the borders of insanity
Guided only by a red flag,
Flapping in winds of change

This barren rock-wall of careless enigma
Battered by rains of conviction
And dwarfed only by ruins
Of statues once great and stories once told

The grey darkness is a comfort to me, though
Like hopeful, pointless morality
I prepare only for that which i can,
But most of everything is unknown

In this cauldron of comforting calamity
