Nor have I ever felt your touch…

I have never seen your smile
Nor have I ever heard your laugh…

I have never seen your reactions
When I tell you a tall tale of my life…

I have never walked with you
Along the trail to were we want to be…

You are so far away, but the distance can not say
That our bond of friendship has developed
Simply chatting online, never wanting to say bye

This is very touching, and serves to illustrate the shrinking world we (in the developed world) are currently living through. Being able to talk to someone thousands of miles away in 'real time' is a fantastic human achievement indeed.

this reminds me of someone, I have a friend like this. I have heard him laugh (on the phone once) and I have seen his smile (in a picture) but we have never met in person and I have known him for four years we hope to meet soon though... this is a really good write. I hope you get to meet this person...

THis is a great poem. Just as many others I do have a friend like this too. It's always great to know that you can find a friend anywhere.

Your poem not only touched my heart but struck a chord--A Minor, i'm thinking.

You know what else? I LIKED what this poem had to say and the meaning. Very sincere.

There was a time I was very critical about this type of relationship. It is hard to define in a comment but I felt it was unseemly, I guess.

Then at some point I realized it is the equivalent of writing letters, only electronically. On a new horizon.

Best wishes on your relationship and may it foster & bloom even more.

Kie :)
