(Chorus) Every time I look at me I see a monster I am constantly a life in heresy I persecute my brothers with my hypocrosy I am a great monstrocity I don't apologize when I hurt some one I always compromise what I believe in I show my friends true love and hate my enemies even though I know that's not supposed to be Chorus Everyday I live I grow colder I watch my brother die he has nothing to eat I find more ways to give myself more pleasure I live my life in constant hostilty Chorus Teach me mercy teach me how to pray for those who do not understand me Give me mercy so I will not perish as a lie Chorus * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I am constantly stumbling and making mistakes But I know god has mercy and he will save me If I come to him with prayer and humility He will forgive me and restore me to sanity I must learn to not forget who I am I am a man who falls short in all of his plans But I'm chosen and loved and I know I am free When I stick to God's plans with humilty.
