YOU GAVE ME

Topic: SongLyrics

SultryRose's Signatures

Your death opened my eyes
Put luv in this starlite.
'cause when I start to get blue
Always hear gentle words from you.

You passed away dear one
You gave me life, yeah, hon.
Your spirit always brightly shines
Putting smiles in this heart of mine.

Your smiles whisper in my ear
Live life to it's fullest, dear.
So much luv touches very gently
As I know you've strengthened me.

Wise ole hippy from heaven shines
Brightening up this heart of mine.
It's like you never went away
'Cause your gentle luv's here to stay.

My children have great respect still, now.
They know you watch over us, wow.
Gentle luv can never, ever die
As sweet memories lite heaven's sky.

What a beautiful song this would make, Emy, I can hear it to music, even with the drums in background like the song you are playing with it. What a beautiful tribute to a loving person, gentle, and respected that lite up your heart and your families life. Such loving and precious words you have used here, makes your readers wish we could have all known him just like you. I especially love the part about you knowing his love is with you still. When a loving person leaves us, they may be gone, but their love still stays around and will comfort us forever.
Warm love

Oh Emystar this poem is like a Psalm.
Filled with faith, hope and love, the three Cardinal Virtues.
So very right you are, those we love have not left us at all when they are called by the Lord. They are aware of what we are doing. Believe me, my Stephen is keenly aware, so are those you love by the grace of God.
What a deeply touching poem this is. He smiles in heaven.!
Tnank you Emystar for sharing this inspiring hymn with us.
Love and peace
Elizabeth

Beautiful tribute of love to him. Their human bodies may leave us but their spirits are always with us, guiding and protecting forever. Lovely work, Emy.

This is one of the most beautiful poems I have had the grace to read. Simply beautiful beyond words. I have saved it in my golden file. It is as though I can feel his presence around me. His aura shines on. I feel his love surrounding you in his light.
