Array ( [sid] => 102792 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Are You Really Gone? [time] => 2005-08-05 23:30:49 [hometext] => This is rusty and more a song than a poem, just spitting out some stray feelings floating around......sucks when someone you love(d) is finally over you, even if you thought it's what you wanted...... [bodytext] => I must have always known someone out there
would see the light I saw in your eyes,
Now as it stares me in the face, you quit waiting,
you really are no longer mine.
I can't pick up the phone in the morning, and call
just because your voice might get me through the day.
Even if I find the nerve, I have lost the words,
is there anything left for me to say, besides to little to late.

This is what I expected of you, I wanted you to carry on,
but I don't know what to do with myself, if this means
that you are really gone.

So is this how our story ends, we forget the times we
cried out in the rain, beneath the stars we felt no pain-
We erase the promises , the hopes and dreams, burn all
little material things, reminding us that once we loved
in vain, but slipped up and somehow lost it all the same.

I will miss the searing of your lips burning my skin,
The swelling of my heart, knowing I can't go there
again,
Surely the emptiness might chill me to the bone
Tell me what do I do with myself, if you are really gone.

I only wanted the best for you, I never wished you a life
alone,
but I don't know what to do with myself, if this means
you are really gone.
Tell me this isn't happening, I am not out here on
my own, somehow I got it all wrong.....
What do I do with myself, if you are really gone?

Baby, are you really gone?

Very sad but yet a masterpeice as I've felt this too many times in my life. Mostly everybody can relate in one way or the other.

Dreams don't die...only hope-
so keep hope alive and your dreams will come true-
