Missing You

Contributed by jishes_4_ever on Friday, 5th August 2005 @ 08:20:09 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

People used to tell me it would all be okay
You were just someone passing by in my life
But I never believed them
And I never wanted to hear them say that
Til now
Lately I find myself wishing you were there
I can't get over the fact that I lost you
I know one day it'll get easier to accept
But for now I just want you here with me
When everything was falling apart
I knew you would be there for me
I counted on you more then anything
Now I have no one to count on
I'm all alone
You were the first person I think I've really ever loved
And now you're gone
Maybe I'm stupid for missing you
But I do
I miss you more then anyone knows
I don't want to talk to anyone about it though
I don't think they'd understand
They'd probably just tell me it would all be okay
That's I'd get over you sooner or later
But it's been almost a year since you left
And still I have feelings for you
Maybe I really will get over you in a little bit
I don't know
I guess I'm just missing you

I know how you feel in a way. In May I wrote a song called "Memory that talks about the same thing. I would not read now if you're feeling sad because it is a sad song. Lost love wounds your heart in a way that even a lost family member doesn't because it is the first time in our live that we are giving our heart to a stranger. Your poem was a really good write.
