No one knows

Contributed by lostinmyself on Friday, 5th August 2005 @ 07:05:21 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I just want someone to take my hand,
And tell me it will be okay,
But no one knows and no one cares,
And no one knows quite what to say.
I'd speak it all inside my head,
If only I could find the words,
But everything I think about,
Just seems to make this worse.
The thoughts are just confusing,
Advice just makes me cry,
I'm trying not to tell you,
But I really couldn't lie.

And I mostly want to hide it,
Though I know it would be wrong,
But if I tried pretending,
It wouldn't seem so strong,
I would push it down inside again,
Like I have so many times before,
And maybe (Only maybe)
I could live a little more.
But I know it's not an answer,
Only an escape,
I have to face reality,
And learn from this mistake,
I cannot keep on hiding,
Though I know not how to show,
The feelings that are killing me,
The feelings no one knows.

This is very sad Phil.
It almost seems like a cry for help
Hope you feel better soon...

Phil ... my hand will reach your way any time you need it. Then it'll poke you three or four times, tap ya on the shoulder and I'll scream tag you're it !!!!

Then I will turn and run away and smash right into a door or something. I would fall down and then I would need a hand.

I think you have really done well here Phil you are always so clear and concise when you write out what you are feeling. There are times I actually envy that of you.

Splendid outpouring of feelings, Philly. Sweety, I am here if you need me. You know how to reach me.

Love,
Rita

Great poem Phil. I have a solution and it is called talking. I struggle with the same thing . What I mean is this take all the time you need to say the things you want to say and they will come out. I would rather do that than to be the shaken soda bottle whose cap is not screwed on too tight, boy does that make a mess. (:

Phil, I'm sad to see that times are as they are for you... and hope that they brighten very soon. Remember I'm always here (and sometimes even on at the same time!), and a hug (the closest I can get it to the real thing) and a prayer are only this far away. Blessings to you, my friend.

*hugs* (with italics for extra-tight)

Andrew

If I could hug you, I truly would.

To think (and I often do) that there are people who feel that no one sees, understands, acknowledges--that gets to me--straight to the heart.

I'll listen and i'll hear, anytime. I do hear--this.

Kie :)

Although I could, it seems completely useless to critique this poem. I'd rather let you know that, although I'm miles upon oceans away, I love you and I care. You know I'm always there to talk even if I am a little flighty at times (as I know I can be).
Love and (especially, for you) peace,

Chelsea
