It's not about an experiance I've had. Read the poem and I think you'll understand its true meaning.* [bodytext] => I remember the day we went to Cold Stone Beach.
The day was perfect,
75 degrees, sunny, and the best part,
no pesky life guards to tell us what not to do.

There I was in my blue swim trunks.
And there you were in your yellow bikini,
with the strings at your side tied in a neat bow.
We both body surfed some waves,

None of them were particularly big.
But then came the one wave,
bigger than all the rest.
We surfed it, and I swear it was the best ride of the day.

We got up, and there we were,
naked, staring at each other.
And you know what’s the most interesting part?
When are swimsuits washed ashore,
neither of us went to cover up.

It was like we were Adam and Eve.
The beach was our Garden of Eden.
And we knew not of the word naked,
or even what it meant.

There we were in our birthday suits,
“seeing” each other.

We finally snapped out of it,
after about five minutes.
We grabbed our bathing suits,
put them on,
And then went for ice cream.

We ate our ice cream, talking about the waves,
and the beach.
After arguably the most embarrassing moment of our lives,
we were talking, like we always had.

You know something…

…I think she’s the best friend I’ve ever had…

Many things dont weigh up to a dear friend and start to seem unimportant when this dear friend stays true to yer heart.

Cherish yer dear friends and never take them for granted. :-)

Lovely write!

Nats.

This is quite funny in a way. We are nature in nature and yet we get embarassed. I wonder why? One of my favorite things to do is wait till night and skinny dip in my pool. It is so freeing. My husband and I used to do it all the time. It was so beautiful. Like being all alone, as God made us, under the night stars with no lights around. Magical, I must say.

Almost sounds like some things that have happened to me. Not quite so dramatic, but still.

This is a greatly written poem. I enjoyed the flow and the tone very much. It could almost be turned into a short story, but the poetic form you've chosen suits it well.

Love and peace,

Chelsea
