Thunderous solitude echoing through the corridors of my imagination,
“Sleep!” mocks the neon face with the 13 blemishes,
Keeping me wide-eyed and counting the decaying bodies around my head,
(No more sheep to tally…)
Coinciding with the rapid beat of my thoughts…
Thoughts of infinite everything and cold nothing…
Thoughts of glorious and forbidden,
YOU…
You and your exquisite robes of melancholy,
Leaving a trail of bitter tears (My tears…)
The ghost f your caress haunting my fevered mind,
Fondling my desires and awakening more illusions of passion,
And I cannot resist… I cannot say no…
I CANNOT stop thinking about you…
The tenderness of your kiss, like a whisper upon my lips,
The elegance of your tongue dancing with mine,
The divinity of your sapphire gaze laced with love unconditional,
The completion I obtain just by hearing your heart tangoing with my own…
I torture my withering mind with these bittersweet concepts,
These pitiful teenage manifestations,
These childish beliefs and yearnings…
(Deceptions, but I believe them anyway…)
I want your strong arms around me,
Instilling the warmth of the sun within my arctic soul…
I crave the pressure of your body against my hips,
Rekindling the flames of a familiar lust…
I long for your presence,
The blinding splendor of your celestial essence…
But all I have is a worthless shadow weeping next to me,
Reminding me of the things I cannot have,
Laying in my own tomb of winter and sorrow,
Wondering if your heart is as frozen as mine…
Wondering if you are just as lonely…
//**~~I languish on vermillion euphoria,
Yawning orisons ultroneously,
Lethe awaiting nostalgic expectations...~~**

There is such passion and longing in this piece, so full of emotion.

This piece is sadly beautiful...
I mirror it word for word...
Such splendrous yearnings and things not impossible, such divine imaginings and covetings...
a bitter juxtaposition to situation and a dancing companion of mock situational irony.
These childish beliefs and yearnings…
(Deceptions, but I believe them anyway…)
This is often how I feel, and this poem is precisely what I am feeling as well. However, these are only deceptions if we believe them to be, for they are sweet as honey. There is no benefit to pay any mind to these hellions of lonliness that plague us, these demons that may whisper in our ears that we are foolish or childish, that ideals have no worth, and dreams come to no fruition.
My eyes are frozen on heaven, and lamentations have no room in such firey ice!

I have missed reading your poems lately
Steph and I apologize for that, but I loved this
write an aching tale of loneliness and lost
love something that many people can relate
to, but only a very few could express it as
eloquently and as painfully as you just did
here. I was thinking of posting a line or two
that stood out but that would be a grave
injustice to the rest of the poem. Yes, your
talent shines through this piece most
definitely and I give you hugs for when the
loneliness stalks your mind.
*hugs and kisses*
