to gather dust and fade,
no help to save yourself a dawn
tomorrow's rust is just the same

feel the blanket dust consume,
all that's now is just a fall
as we decay in half a room,
i wish i had a soul to call

I'm here and I'm writing!
I'm tired cause I'm fighting!
My deepest emotional wounds...
I'm an army of one!
I'm armed with no gun!
Where's a white flag to wave me...

get the glue i've come undone
off the wall you saw me fall
now i'm just like every sun
setting slow to just a crawl

get the pills, i need to numb
everything you made me feel
i know it's wrong, i know it's dumb
but love i feel is never real...

i'm here and i'm writing!
no longer fighting...

This is a wonderful write. Really good job. I liked this stanza the most...probally cause it most sounds like me:

feel the blanket dust consume,
all that's now is just a fall
as we decay in half a room,
i wish i had a soul to call

I hope all works out

Unique write. Yes keep writing, it is the soothing we need for our twisted minds. LOL
Several lines in particular, that caught me up: "get the glue I've come undone
off the wall you saw me fall
now I'm just like every sun
setting slow to just crawl"
"get the pills, I need to numb" been there before. Good stuff here. Peace to you. Laura

I feel like that now ...

I really like this a lot...:-(
