After the bruises appeared,
I thought the darkness would hide me,
But i was wrong and i was found.

Scared to go out,
Yet i was still found,
No where to run to,
Surrounded in a corner.

The anger rose as i started to cry,
The hope of escape,
Gradually faded away,
As did my strength.

A kick in the back,
made me fall to the floor,
A hit to my head,
made me go against the wall.

The pains through my body,
I wanted to run,
From the torture,
From the man i called dad,

The only option left,
Was to grab the knife,
To dig in slowly,
To end my life. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 61 [informant] => Beni [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

I do not know what to say about this poem, usually stay away from poems with self harm, but the end of it just seemed so painfull it seemed to make me feel sick.
