Array ( [sid] => 10255 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => StarLighter: Part 1 [time] => 2003-01-12 17:00:00 [hometext] => Inspired by a program I have developed for young people here in W.A.
The program deals with Crime, Racism, Abuse, Bullying and Young Peoples' rights and responsibilities.
It has proved very popular in schools here.

Andromeda is a story I made up to help my lovely lady Urszula get off to sleep one night after she had a bad day at work and couldn't settle.
It worked. [bodytext] => In a galaxy far, far away
Way out beyond the MilkyWay,
Lies my heart, my land, my home
This is the place I long to roam.

Travel eons deep through outer space
But stop and visit Black-Hole cafe,
At Pluto take a sharp turn right
Replenish yourself on chefs' delights.

Plutonians are a happy crowd
They party hard with music loud,
Mars-bar boogie, or Jupiter sway
Are bound to take your woes away.

With the dawn you just might see
This Way -That Way running free,
StarLighters' dog, pedigree so fine
He has two heads, but he doesn't mind.

StarLighters robes are rainbow bright
He wears them morning, noon and night,
He's the wise one, old and grey
I think he turns eighteen today.

Each evening as earths' dusk descends
On the universe's edge he stands,
Into outstretched palms he gently blows
Lighting each star for kids below.
