[bodytext] => This is a story quite unpleasant to read But a story that so needs to be told A tale of two lovers, one young and naďve The other one, wiser, more cold Its starts on a lovely, rain drenched night When the stars graced the sky with their shine The geese, for the winter, had just taken flight And the summer was a thing left behind Her name is unknown, but not important anyway And his, well lets just keep it between us But she’d been neglected and ignored (‘till that day) In search, of the solution to an unrequited love So she found him at the park, sitting, all alone Softened by the twilights velvet haze He promised her love like she’d never been shown And warmth, all the rest of her days So she followed him loyally, all the long year Through the thick and the thin, and the strained And he sang to her, lyrics she so longed to hear Of sweetness and affection, all without shame. She was too blind to see, that his sugar coated love Was like candy, unhealthy, and unreal And so the first time he hit her, she thought nothing of This new fear she was beginning to feel. It went on this way for a while and then more Like a drizzle, that makes rain and then a flood… And she clung, clung to him, like she never had before Afraid to lose, even though he thought nothing of spilling her blood So the pain became worse, and still worse every day Until she simply couldn’t stand it any longer She knew she had to get out, she had to run away the fear in her rising as he grew increasingly stronger. But when she stepped towards the door, no man in sight He appeared like death, to reclaim her And he said, in that voice that gave winged demons flight “Where’re you going?”, and who could have blamed her? she stood for a moment, paralyzed with fear, and then ran to this side, and that but he was quick and unstoppable, his breath stank of cheap beer and he gathered his resolve and then spat she turned to the backdoor, hoping, praying to god that she could somehow just, get away but he caught her, with a single step, and she let out a sob a wail, for this fine she must so unfairly pay she struggled like a woman insane, kicking, and screaming, but her screams were as still and silent as glass as he broke her and bruised her, she felt as though she were dreaming and felt also as though no time had passed.. and then it was over, he stood and walked satisfactorily, out of the dimly lit room it was dark, and unfeeling, and frightening and morosely, She thought… for the death of her innocence, he had forged a lovely tomb. So she lay there, on the soft eggshell carpet, of that small bedroom floor And thought of the man, whom she had once called “the one” And with this thought in her mind, she whispered, with heartfelt sorrow “my darling, my darling….what have you done?” [comments] => 3 [counter] => 190 [topic] => 43 [informant] => shesakillerqueen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
