That she’s held in for years

But these tears are unusual
They have a red visual

Her tears don’t taste of water and salt,
They taste of blood and it’s all her fault

For too long she has held back her tears
She held it all in, didn’t cry for years

Now her tears are full of pain
And her tears don’t look like rain

They are of a thick red,
Staining her pillow and bed

She can’t stop them from falling,
Now she’s in pain and is calling

She’s losing blood through tears
And there is no one near

Now she remembers why she’s crying
She was so sick and tired of trying

There was no one around
It was just her and her frown

The red- it’s is spilling out,
To stop the tears is a doubt

All that she has gone through,
She misses all and is calling to you

Blood spilling out her eyes,
Pouring out as she cries

Her tears are blood, not water,
To breathe becomes only harder

She sheds these tears,
All the blood over the years

I like how you made the drops of blood be tears. I wrote something similar in my poem Silent Crimson Night. The lines 'Now she remembers why she’s crying She was so sick and tired of trying' really give this poem life and makes the line 'To breathe becomes only harder' more power. An excellent write.
