standing in the doorway as I walked up the drive.
My heart started to race as I clutched my bag thinking it would bring me some sort of safety.
As I walked closer his eyes looked into mine and for the first time in a long time they were warm and loving.
Before I could speak a word he reached out his hand for mine.
I took his hand.
It was shaking and cold with sweat.
He led me into the house and as I stepped in to the door all I saw were roses.
He got down on one knee and opened a little black box.
And in that box was a ring, a ring he had picked just for me, like he had picked the flowers.
With tears in my eyes and a puzzled look on my face I asked him why.
He said that he loves me,
he loves me more than I could imagine, and he wants me to marry him.
All I could do was smile and shake my head in disbelief.
And as I walked down the aisle he was standing under the arch.
As I got closer my heart started to race and I clutched my father's hand for some sort of safety.
I looked into his eyes and they were filled with tears.
He reached out his hand for mine.
I took his hand.

Baby girl, This is aorable, so sweet and romantic, and awwwww. Makes me remember my daddy.......
You are new to this, and so your form is going to be rusty until you write enough to develop your own style, and that is to be expected. You have the words and thoughts within you, play with them, and you are gonna blow your own mind! Good, good job, sunshine! Keep it up!

Oh My this was very touching and I loved to read it from the first line to the last.
The last poem I read was about you not knowing if he was the one. Perhaps this is just a dream, or a different one?
Whomever I hope you will be very happy twobabies, you deserve it!
Warm love
consue
