A girl who has lost her way
‘I love you’
Are the simple words she was longing for someone to say

But no one did
Because they didn’t care
‘I hate you’
Are the brutal words that she couldn’t bare

Even though it hurt
Those words she couldn’t bare
Would get stuck in her head
And would just stay there

She never heard words of
Passion, caring, or affection
But words of
Hurt, pain, and rejection

No one ever loved her
Or helped her with her pain
So, gradually as she grew
She was considered insane

Until, finally she realized
She didn’t deserve to live this life
So she turned to her best friend
Silver, her knife

She laid down her knife
Upon her wrist on a vein
She did one deep, long slice
And the last thing she felt was pain

I liked this poem, it was very emotional, sometimes hate can be one of the strongest words in the world, usually people say it out of anger, sometimes they do not mean it. SLipSiX.

good, sad, and powerful write. good job, and if 'she' is really 'you' please, don't do it. i know the pain of rejection and hurt and not of love and care. and i'm still living... please don't hurt yourself. it's not worth it. we have to stick together... good write, though. keep up the good work!

She laid down her knife
Upon her wrist on a vein
She did one deep, long slice
And the last thing she felt was pain
