reminding me why my loves in the ground
she died last year a woman of my life
if she was alive she would have been my wife
i hold this ring i remember that night
i asked you to marry me in the moonlight

i wear it now wraped in a chain
to remind me why my life is in pain
i tried to hide it put it away
i always ran right back everyday
she died on the street coke was her sin
she hide it from me i new it would win

now as the anniversary comes by this day
satan has hold my life fades away
he laughs and he dances he has me beat
he knows one day i will call defeat
this is something i cant bury away
she was pregnant with kids twins they say

dont cry for me i am a dead soul in the night
black as the blade cold as the knife
this is why happiness and me
dont get along as you can see
its taken all night to write these few lines
this is the way that my love blinds

as i try to move on im reminded of that night
when the doctors told me you took your own life

This is an extremely sad write and I am very sorry for your deep pain. I lost a husband last year and it has been hard but little by little I am coming back around to life. There is still life for you left after you lose the ones you love. Don't give up on life or yourself. You must keep living for them. They didn't get a chance to live, so you do it for them.

No wonder u feel like a lost relic.
this is so very sad and I'm tottally sorry for your loss. I lost a good friend and one time mate a few months ago. Other than my parents this really did hurt but he still watches over me and gives me the desire to get the best from luved ones and life.
Sounds like she had a cold hard reason to end it 'cause if she was pregnent then she knew the babies would be born addics. I'm not saying she wanted them to die. I hear that cocaine is very addictive and she probably thought it was the only way to end the agony of the addiction.
If ya need a friend then pm me any time.
This is a masterpeice of pain but I'm sure others will learn from it. I know it's hard to write about but u should keep writing 'cause your pain just might save someone elses life. We hear so much from the individual that wants to commite suicide but I think the veiw u have shown us here is equally as importent.
Keep up the awesome write.
Hang tuff and I'll put u in my daily prayers.
luv, huggs, healing,
emy

This was so sad, I am truly at a loss for words at this time.

May time heal you and bring you a smile again.

Very moving.

I think this is one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read, it reminds me of that song Last Dance with Mary Jane, My friend Jim was Killed by my friend Josh, Strangled and I thought I was inlove with Josh, now he's in for life, and my older Bro just died last Febuary, I never got to know him to smoke a bowl w him, and this poetry makes me feel conected!

Keep writing its good stuff!

Love Jill
