Array ( [sid] => 102103 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => sailing away [time] => 2005-07-26 16:24:34 [hometext] => i realized when you become strong as a person, you always have someone who wants to pull you down or bring you back to make life worse for you. but i know from all that i've been through you have to use you own vision to see. this poem means alot to me. [bodytext] => i'm finally on my canoe and you want to blow me back your way
i can't come back to you, i can't love you , i can't in all my wheel stay
God knows that i love you and i love you just enough not to hurt myself to go back to you
when i was in your arms , for a reason or another , i was caught dangerously in your storms
i was wrapped deeply into this fire
a craving of your desire
now i realize i can't do it no more, i'm tired
i never in my life felt as used as i did when i was with you
now the pictures are clear to see, it just took me a while to get a clue
so let me off on my way to sail across this sea
i don't need you and i want let you have no part of me
i know when i sleep at night ,i think of you, and i want so bad for myself to pull through
i was a dead rose in your eyes that had unhappily blossom
i surely admit i was dumb
the clouds are bound gray
you want me strongly, but only to hurt me more and more and more
i can't let you do this to me
so now i'm sailing, sailing, sailing far away

very nice poem.. with an excellent theme that really expressed your feelings well. i can definitely relate to the thought of being brought to a state of mind where i don't like to be.

thanks for sharing this.. and keep up the fine writing

I felt each word you keep sailing and find that peace you deserve a man who hurts you isnt worthy of your love

this poem is so relatable to my experiences so well written. i loved the ideas about not being able to love the person but not being able to stop it. and i also loved the theme of sailing away... lovely work
