Crying things over
Right there on the edge
Thoughts painful and sober
Just two feet from the edge
Two feet from my death
Back away from the edge
Slowly catch my breath

Another night I didn’t jump
Another day I have to live
Never take for granted what you got
Or what you have to give

Great poem. It may help those who are contemplating suicide.

Good job! something that helped me was a nurse reminding me that attempting suicide is showing those around you; family members and others that suicide is a way to cope with life .. I hadn't thought of it in that way before .. and I had a grandaughter that was already cutting herself to cope with life .. what an ass I was being . Now I get counselling and use more positive means to try and solve my problems .. writing is one means .. and writes like yours help too .. thanks.
