Array ( [sid] => 10204 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => For Now [time] => 2003-01-11 22:00:00 [hometext] => hello everyone, this is my new poem of the year 2003. Just my way of rebuilding my old dream on the shattered glass of yesteryears and saying hello to this brand new one. [bodytext] => For Now

It has been a year and too many heartaches I can’t take
It has been too many smiles I can no longer fake
So I burn the old cds and start living
Oh it’s tired to start rebuilding, re-being…

This time around
This journey down
I will wipe the historical dust
Refuse to listen to the silent song of the past
The bygones that slipped so carelessly by
So I burn the past and I live and I try.

This maddening heart races
This rugged soul paces
Towards the pulse beat of tomorrows
Away from yesteryears’ sorrows
Good morning 2003
A glitter year towards which I flee

So I pack up and quietly leave
This town of melancholy dreams
Shouldering the hope of a summer child
With a skip and a hope so wild.

No strings attached
No looking back
Closing time, closing time
Brand new dream, I am here
Painful love, sorry dear

Say goodbye to a yesterday boy
Bid farewell to the yesterday toy
Closing time, it is closing time
I need to go
We need the flow
Say you believe
New Hope to live

summer child
I am now

Yesterdayboy, you commented on my The Power Of A Word in January when I was posting as SusieiQ. I am posting as Bizzy now.
Sorry that I am so slow; I just looked at the comments. Sir, your For Now is very good.
I hope to see more of your poems posted soon. Bizzy 'Clean is beautiful!'
