Drunken monkeys rage in me
In my mindless, soulless being
Bone-shattering screams heard from inside
Painful shrieks of anger and fear
Ripping tearing at what’s left
Eating through the pain
Evil vibrations break through my skin
Mangy creatures found within
“Forget your master and come with me!”
Simon’s awoken and is angered at once
“Follow me to righteousness!
Follow me and you’ll be free!”
The monkeys follow Simon wherever he leads
They obey his every command and worship his every step
The monkeys are so drunken
They don’t know what they’re doing at all
Following this maniac will only get them killed
They’ll die with him!
The raging maniacs who once tore me apart
Do I now feel sympathy for these buffoons?
I must save what I once hated
Put aside my longing to kill
“Follow me you spineless fools!
Come see what I have in store for you.”
“Save the monkeys,” says my heart
“Let them die,” demands the rest of me
“They tried to kill you from the inside out.”
“They tried to kill you, but now Simon will kill them!”
I don’t know what to do
Don’t know where to go
If I save the monkeys, I’ll set them free
I’ll get them out of my body!
Rid of the annoyance that rips at my veins
Be gone with you Simon!
Never return until these b***ards come back
Be free ye monkeys!
Run drunken in the wild!
Run free!
Run wild!
Run drunken monkeys, run!
