Nothing could hurt her
So she felt safe

Out of the blue
Something came from the deep
It stirred her soul
Nothing seemed real

It arose from below
She knew what it was
It struck her down
But she rose up again

Nothing could keep her down
The figure stepped back
Then came at full force
She shattered it with one word

The beast was gone
What had she spoken
No one could tell
There was no one around

Her triumph goes unknown
She still stands alone
But in her soul
She knew she saved the world [comments] => 6 [counter] => 218 [topic] => 49 [informant] => Tricky [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 11 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => mystical )

I enjoyed the simple flow of this write, what was the word she uttered? ( just curious).
Simple but so enjoyable.
Thanks

Hmmm something about this I like...It makes me think, and this could be taken in so many different ways...You have it listed under 'mystical' but in an abstract sort of way it could be seen as a self struggle...abuse...conquering emotions...As far as structure and whatnot...I enjoyed the tale overall, but found it perhaps a little too vague in some parts, but I think the format works quite well. I guess it just would've been nice to see this story unravel a little bit more...How 'bout a sequel? : )

I think that we all somewhat have unknown powers. I don't think of these powers as anything supernatural. Just gifts that we use to make others lives better. Nice write.

Holy crap, Christen!
This is better than 1/2 of the junk I write... more like 2/3 of it, actually.
You're going to be better than me at my own thing, dang it! lol
