Carrying my heavy load
Dragging feet with deep despair
Lots of worries, many cares

Moved so slowly, heavy heart
Had no will to make new start
Thoughts of misery and pain
Slowly driving me insane

A bridge I found across this road
Under this bridge a river flowed
And on this river was a boat
Words were written,Boat Of Hope

I climbed inside and sailed away
Waves of calm, a peaceful day
Spray of life surrounded me
Setting heart and spirit free

Floating on a sea of calm
Safe and warm and free from harm
I'd been rescued from my plight
Out of darkness, into light
