Array ( [sid] => 101785 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Save Me [time] => 2005-07-21 07:27:38 [hometext] => This is just something I wrote when some stuff was happening, its my first poem so I dont know how good it is. [bodytext] => They say to talk to someone
But when no ones around
When no one listens.
Who’s there to talk to?
Do they even know what they are talking about?
Do they think they know me better then I do?
Do they know the feeling of a knife being twisted around in your stomach?
Looking at yourself and hating what you see
Feeling disgusted with your self
Feeling hopeless
That you are never going to get what you want
What’s the use in trying?
When there’s nothing to be
What’s there to lose when you have lost everything?
Everyone is so happy
Who do they think they are kidding?
It’s just a mask, it’s all a façade
An act.
Everyone is hiding
To afraid to be who they are inside
To afraid to let anyone find out
Everyone is an actor
You find one person who is truly themselves
You find one and show me
I bet you that you can’t
People say they are themselves
But they are lying
They don’t mean to
Lying is second nature
You do it with out thinking
“Feeling rotten?”
“No, I’m fine” ‘of course you idiot!’
See what I mean?
If there is someone to listen
could I be saved?

Yeah, I agree.Seems like lying is a part of our lives.
This is a really different type of poem...I've never came across any like yours...I find the emotions inside really blinding and right in our face.
It's good, I guess, that the basic theme is so close to our heart.
