It consumes our bodies and minds
It preys on the innocent

It is careless

There is really nothing I can say to you that will ease your pain about this. I have been in this position and I know how much it hurts. I can say to you that all you can do is be with her as much as you can and assure her of your love (which she already knows) but now is the time she really needs to hear and feel it. Blessings to you all. If you need to just rant or vent, I would be more than willing to be there for you. Peace be with you.

I'm so sorry to hear that about your Grandmother...it's such a terrible disease.
As far as this poem goes...I really like the format, and I think putting those lines in bold was very effective, and really made the words come alive...This is a well expressed piece, and you really drove home your emotions with the style this was written in. Well done.
