If I Could Bottle Up Your Tears

Contributed by LolaWhite on Tuesday, 19th July 2005 @ 10:39:29 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

If I could bottle up your tears
I would take a sip each day

To taste the salty burn of love
That will never go away

If I could just for one moment spend
Another day with you

I would tell you all I had to tell
And do all there was to do

If I could be for just one blink
Inside of your mind's eye

Then I would never have to shed
These tears I often cry

If I could forever stay
Within your beating heart

My mind could finally be at ease
For we would never be apart

You have such great depth---and compassion. I was very moved by your poem in a good way and the title was wonderful.

This was beautiful, very much so.

What a beautiful write my love and thank you for posting it for me. I love you and it feels so good to know I’m loved so much. This poem had so much love and had a much deeper side to it. You got some good comments on it. Keep up the writes and know I’ll be home soon from this place to hold you again and love you with all my heart once again. Love always your husband….Steve

Very inspiring write, I miss you both, I am still praying for your family. Write to me to ease my mind, see my prayers are answered, well, and do I have doubt, no, the Good Lord is with you, watching over your beautiful family. Beautiful write, cleansing tears, tears of promise....keep that strong faith your family has... Huggs to you all. Raquel Leah
