LoVe ScArS

Contributed by brokenwings on Tuesday, 19th July 2005 @ 09:35:15 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The scars are still freash
they reside on my heart
not upon my fleash
this heart once torn apart
has been mended by lace
the scars will be here a while
mending in your long loving embrace
as love starts a brand new mile

The scars came when I was a child
found a love that i was sure would last
now that was a touch of mild
but that was in my past
you have looked deep within me
your the light at the end of the dark
with you I will always be
its more love than a flicker, or a spark

with you my love scars
start to mend and fade away
nights shared under the stars
a love strong enough to stay
