Just wanted him to know that I'm always there...he'll be home in two weeks Yippee!!! [bodytext] =>

The first time
I heard your heartbeat
I was smitten
In love with you
without even knowing
your name
Your tiny hands
wrapped, round my heart
from the inside
cradling it with love
the way I cradled you
with mine
Ever growing
You...inside my womb
Playing games of
Hide and Go Seek
before you could even walk
Your footprints
permanently stamped
upon my heart
The story books and lullabys
secret conversations
and moody cries
we shared together
before you could even talk
This bond
between mother and child
inseparable
the way we were then
From the first moment I never saw you
I loved you...unconditionally
Forever will you be carrying
my loving heart with you
even when I am absent from your view

Beautiful .. story books and lullabys
secret conversations
and moody cries
... bringing up the question of why you are separated..
but it's none of my business; I'm just a grandmother who had custody of her grandchild for awhile .. and so curiosity .. but .....

This is an extremely touching write, and on another day I daresay it might've made me cry. You expressed your love and devotion quite well in this piece, and with the music and picture, everything just clicked. Nice job!

Scorp.

I could never of let my sons be gone for a year. I had trouble letting them go to camp for a month in the summer. You are much stronger than I. Like Vibes, I raised by twin grandsons for 5 years of their lives. It was a wonderful time of love and making memories. I am thrilled for you he will be coming home.

Oh My CB How very beautiful is your poetry. I loved each and every line. Your heart strings were wrapped around each one! To let your little bond be gone that long must have been very hard indeed!
Let me welcome you please to the best poem site in all the world. You are going to love it here, we are like a great big family, and love each other very much!
Thanking you so much for your lovely comment on my poem also.
I'll be looking forward to reading more of your touching writes in the future. The image is perfect, and so the music.
Marvelous Job all the way around
Warm love and hugs

A good write with so much love for your son and it was written quite well. I know what its like to miss your kid. I didn’t see mine tell she was 6 months old and now I left again and I’m back in Iraq and wont see her again tell she is over a year old. So much I will miss and its hard to be away from her and my loving wife. Take care and thank you for your comment on my poem….Steve
