Nothing to recapture but horror and lies.
It was the fear,
That kept her here.
It was the craziness that kept her sane.
It was the cold water that healed her pain.
The dark lonely nights, the slaps in the face.
That was what kept her from leaving that place.
Cold shoulders and shattered dreams.
Nothing was ever what it seemed.
For she thought it was love, in a sick way.
Until it took her life one day.
Nothing would ever be the same.
For now it is I who is insane.
Lipstick stained lips, dark mangled eyes.
There is no make-up that could ever disguise.

This is sad. You write with such feeling and pain. If this is true you can always leave. Maybe... I dont know the situation. This was really good keep 'em up.
