To be scattered memories of broken hopes
Slowly falling from which at this moment seems
Something that use to shine so bright & radiant
Now seems to be fading further out of reach
Yearning to feel the warmth and safeness
To feel the power of control. . .just once
To have in me the courage to own up to every wrong
To apologize for words not spoken in those special moments
Where stars are brightly shinning in the background
To have those moments to do over would be impossible
But to have the memories is where the power is in my reach
For every dream I dream may it be of you
Of that moment you touched my hair and face
And promised everything would be okay
May our last goodbye lead into a future hello?

Sweet silence lay upon deep dreams
To be scattered memories of broken hopes
Slowly falling from which at this moment seems
