Array ( [sid] => 101440 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Your Addiction [time] => 2005-07-17 14:29:02 [hometext] => In my eyes, this poem describes the life of a suicidal person. It explains how hard it is to stop suicidal habits. [bodytext] => A small cut turns into a larger one
And before you know it...
That large cut turns into an addiction

At first the pain is intense
Then it goes away
And eventually it turns into pleasure

The blood scares you
Then you dont notice it
And in the end, you enjoy the site of it

As you cut each day
And you lose more and more blood
You grow weak and you cant fix it

The addiction takes over your life
And as badly as you want to deny it...
You must admit that the addiction is something you love

You dont want to stop
And you turn to other things
the burning comes next...

The blisters and smoke
Are sickening to you
But they make you smile

At the end of the tunnel
As you try to turn around
You see that you are trapped

And your addiction kicks in
And you cut once more
And you love the site until it disappears

All around you is fire and pain
At first you are scared
Then you adapt

It's your own fault
You didn't stop in time
And now you will suffer in your own hell!

Visions of the ones you loved
And the ones you hurt
Surround you and you collapse

As you wake,
You see it was a dream
And you see the ones you loved are all around

You are thankful to be alive
And you vow to never do it again
But you can never escape your addiction

Or can you...?
